Supervision

Clinical Supervision for Counsellors & other Helping Professionals

A space to reflect, explore
and grow in your work.

Being a counsellor can be incredibly rewarding, but it can also be challenging. Sometimes we need space to think things through, make sense of what is happening in our work, or simply pause and reflect with someone who understands the realities of being a therapist.

My aim is to offer a supportive, collaborative space where you can bring your work openly, explore what's happening for you and your clients, and develop confidence in your practice.

Whether you're just starting out as a trainee, building your private practice or have been counselling for many years, supervision should feel like a space where you can be honest, curious and supported.

How I work as a clinical supervisor

My approach to supervision is relational, reflective and collaborative. I want supervision to feel like a conversation rather than a formal assessment, where we can think together about your work and what might be helpful.

I'm interested in more than just what happened in a session. We can explore what you noticed, how you responded, what you felt in the room, and whether there might be something else going on beneath the surface.

Sometimes we might focus on a particular client or an intervention you're considering. At other times, we might look at patterns emerging in your work, the impact of a client on you, or something that's feeling difficult to understand.

I aim to offer warmth and encouragement alongside thoughtful challenge when it feels helpful. My role isn't to tell you how to work, but to support you in developing your own thinking, awareness and confidence as a practitioner.

My supervision practice draws on the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision developed by Peter Hawkins and Robin Shohet. This provides a helpful framework for looking at counselling work from different perspectives.

Who I work with

  • Qualified counsellors

  • Trainee Counsellors

  • Other professionals working in a helping, caring or educational role who need a confidential reflective space

Group Supervision

I offer small group supervision (max 4 participants) for counsellors and trainees online and in person. Each group supervision session is 2 hours and provides an opportunity to reflect alongside other counsellors, hear different perspectives and learn from shared experiences in a supportive professional space.

Group supervision counts towards BACP and NCPS requirements – each group member can claim 1hr of supervision per 2hr session (50%).

You should ensure you also meet your individual supervision requirements of your professional membership body (e.g. NCPS 1hr minimum individual supervision).

***NEW GROUPS STARTING NOVEMBER 2026 ***

INTRODUCTORY PRICE - £30 PER 2HR SESSION (FOR FIRST 3 MONTHS)

A little more about me

I'm a qualified counsellor and clinical supervisor with over 12 years of counselling experience, working with adults, young people and couples across a range of settings, including private practice, counselling agencies, schools, colleges and other support services.

I hold a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and a Level 6 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision. I also hold certificates in Relationship Counselling through Relate and working therapeutically with groups. I'm a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and my work is guided by its Ethical Framework.

My approach is integrative, grounded in person-centred theory and drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, including systemic, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused approaches (SFA) and psychodynamic perspectives. I enjoy working creatively in both my counselling and supervision practice, and I'm a member of the Creative Counsellors Hub.

But beyond qualifications, modalities and experience, I'm a human being just like you. I'm balancing the demands of work, family life and looking after my own wellbeing, and I understand the rollercoaster that can come with being a counsellor — the rewarding moments, the challenges, the self-doubt and everything in between.

I'm friendly, approachable and down to earth. I bring my authentic self into the supervision space, and I want you to feel able to bring yours, too. For me, supervision isn't about having all the answers or getting everything right. It's about having the space to be honest, curious, reflect on our work and continue to grow as practitioners.

Thinking about supervision with me?

If you're looking for a clinical supervisor and would like to explore whether we might work well together, I'd be happy to hear from you. We can start with a conversation about what you're looking  for and what would help you feel supported in your work. Initial Consultations are free so just get in touch to book a consultation to see if we could be a good fit to work together.
